A GOOD IDEA!!
In case of Emergency (ice)
An idea is spreading thanks to a Paramedic who found when at the scene of an accident. There were always cell phones with patients. Not knowing which # to call in an emergency situation, he came up with the idea of storing it under ICE. Emergency service personnel & hospital stall would know to call. If you have more than one contact name, simply enter ICE1, ICE2 & ICE3 etc.. A great idea that could save your life or your loved ones!! Let's spread the concept of ICE by storing an ICE# in our cell phones today!!

Consumer complaints & Reviews

I know that Verizon is installing Fios  in our area and there has been a lot of complaints out there so I thought I would post this link. I had ordered the service to be installed but got a little worried after listening to many neighbors and canceled before I had it installed. If you are going to do it be sure to ask a lot of questions. I was told you have to give the area code each time you place a call even if it's local. (my neighbor has too) If you are willing to part with an extra $6 a month you won't have to do that. Not everyone is unhappy, just do your homework. :)

  • Everything I Really Need To Know
  • I Learned     From Noah's Ark
  • Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark.
  • Stay fit. When you're 600 years old, someone might ask you to do something Really big.
  • Don't listen to critics. Do what has to be done.
  • Build on the high ground.
  • For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
  • Two heads are better than one.
  • Speed isn't always an advantage. The cheetahs were on board, but so were the snails.
  • If you can't fight or flee--float.
  • Take care of your animals as if they were the last ones on earth.
  • Don't forget that we're all in the same boat.
  • When the doo-doo gets really deep, don't sit there and complain--shovel!
  • Stay below deck during the storm.
  • Remember that the ark was built by amateurs & the Titanic was built by professionals.
  • If you have to start over, have a friend by your side.
  • Remember that the woodpeckers INSIDE are often a bigger threat than the storm outside.
  • No matter how bleak it looks, there's always a rainbow on the other side.
  • Don't be Late!
  • DON'T MISS THE BOAT !!!!

THE ANSWER
About every two weeks this Spay & Neuter Van shows up  at the Mead Valley Community Center.  It's great, if you have already spay & neutered your pet & only wish to get the shots, license & chipped. You can take care of that also. Chipping is only $15. All county prices. They don't do large dogs (sometimes they will take the boys) at the van, if they are unable to take your dog, they will make appointment at the county shelter for you. To confirm dates give them a call at

1-888-664-5166. Press Option #3

Spay & Neuter Help!

If you need financial help with fixing your pets
Actors & Others can help. Set up your appointment.
Have information ready to give them so they know where to make their pledge too. Where you are taking your pet to be fixed & the date you are doing it. All the information you can give about your dog. Have a phone # of the clinic ready for them also. Be sure to tell them you really need the financial help. Write down the name of the person who is helping you. They are all volunteers. Then a day or two before you take your dog to the place, make sure you call & see if the pledge has came in from them before you go. You don't want to show up & the pledge not be there & then call on it. They won't do same day pledges. With helping so many, these things can fall through the cracks.
So make sure it is there before you go. Hope that helps!
